Sunflower Ornament

Sunflowers represent loyalty, joy, and adoration.  When my sister asked me to make a sunflower, I felt it came at the perfect season of her life.  She had transformed herself from a guarded woman, hidden behind her strength (and stubbornness) into an empathetic, joyful, loving, and mindful woman.  A sunflower matched her newfound love and energy perfectly.

After many trials, I finally found a size and design that would work great as a mirror ornament for her car.  Three and a half inches wide made of a clear base layer, nipped details of transparent and opaque yellows, and colored shards of glass hand mixed to create the center.  We also attach a bail or a stainless steel hook to allow for hanging.
